les adj. longs ==> more + adj. + than // the most + adj

les adj. courts ==> adj. + -er  + than  / the + adj. + -est

adj. en y --> ier ==>pretty = prettier than, the prettiest // lazy, lazier than, the laziest

adj.consonne-voyelle-consonne -> on double la consonne = big, bigger than, the biggest// hot, hotter than, the hottest

exceptions

good ==> better than // the best

bad    ==> worse than// the worst

far    ===> farther ou further than // the farthest ou the furthest (les 2 sont bons)
