Résous les équations suivantes :

a. (x + 1)(x - 8) = 0

Donc, nous avons ces deux équations à résoudre :

x + 1 = 0 ; x = 0 - 1 = (-1) ; x = (-1)

ou x - 8 = 0 ; x = 0 + 8 = 8 ; x = 8

Cette équation-produit admet donc deux solutions :

(-1) et 8

Développe puis réduis chaque expression :

a. (x + 8)² = x² + ( 2 * x * 8 ) + 8² = x² + 16x + 64

b. (3x - 9)² = 9x² - ( 2 * 3x * -9 ) + 9² = 9x² - 54x + 81

c. (x + 7)(x - 7) = x² - 7x + 7x - 49 = x² - 49

d. (4y - 5)(4y + 5) = 16y² + 20y - 20y - 25 = 16y² - 25

e. (6 - 2t)² = 6² - ( 2 * 6 * 2t ) + 4t² = 36 - 24t + 4t²

Identités remarquables :

(a + b)² = a² + 2ab + b²

(a - b)² = a² - 2ab + b²
